On Freya's Field

About the artwork

A scene depicting a female figure seated on a chair, distorted in form with her head tilted back gracefully. She wears a dress with a ruffled white collar, holding a small bucket down by her side. Two chickens peck at the ground near her feet, with a rustic building visible in the background. Dusty pink and peach tones dominate the scene, accented with warm ochre, soft blues, earthy browns, burgundy, and strokes of white.
