About the artwork

A portrait of a male figure depicting his face and upper body, with his neck and features distorted in form as he tilts his head thoughtfully downward. He has dark wavy hair framing an angular, stylized face with a distinctive rosy pink patch on his cheek. He is wearing a loose, open-collar short-sleeved shirt rendered in expressive painterly strokes. Warm terracotta and peach background, with muted sage greens, creamy whites, earthy browns, and touches of ochre.
