About the artwork

A portrait of a female figure, distorted in form, wearing thin-rimmed glasses and looking gently downward. She cradles a harvested bundle of plants and produce in her arms, including leafy greens, root vegetables, and stems dotted with bright red berries. Dressed in a light short-sleeved top with a decorative collar and a deep burgundy skirt, her silhouette is highlighted by warm outlines. Deep burgundy, leafy forest greens, warm ochres, peaches, nudes, and pops of red sit against a neutral background.
