Edison’s sailing days

About the artwork

A portrait of a male figure distorted in form, seated with his legs apart and hands resting between his knees. He wears a pale collared shirt with expressive painterly contours and deep burgundy-brown trousers. Behind him, a coastal seascape unfolds with a sailboat gliding across the water beneath a clouded sky. Earthy plum, terracotta, sandy nudes, warm creams, and subtle accents of blue and charcoal define the palette.
